Monday, April 29th is our Athletic Award Banquet in the gym at 7:00pm.
The W-Club will provide chicken & meatballs, a drink, plates, and silverware. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass. Families whose last name starts with J to Z bring a dish to pass (bread, salads, vegetable, or hot dish) and families whose last name start with A to I bring a dessert. We will eat first and the awards program will follow. Student-athletes and managers will be recognized at the awards program.
The school play is next weekend! Make plans to attend!

Today is Administrative Professionals Day! If you have been around, you know how hard they work to keep everything afloat! We have an amazing team, and we are incredibly thankful for everything they do. You rock, Lori, Renae, Stacey, and Tiffany!

We missed one yesterday! Thank you SO MUCH to this dedicated and flexible group of bus drivers! Our team is always ready, on time (when the weather allows!), and deserves a lot of praise for their work getting our students to and from school, games, activities, and everything! Thank you Robert, Diana, Rick, Theresa, Allison, Lori, Linda, Missy, Lee, and Mike!

2024-25 HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION Students grades 8-11 were given their registration information for next year in the last 2 days. This requires a parent sign off so talk to your kids and check out what classes they are looking at for next year. If you have any questions please call the school. Forms are due April 30.
This week is Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week, and we have THE BEST!! Thank you to Kalli, Brianna, Sarah, Abigail S, Abigail G, and Dorene! Our community is blessed to be able to provide such an awesome program for our students, and the WASP staff do an incredible job with them! Please be sure to thank them for ALL they do when you pick up your kids this week at WASP!

Here it is! The Wilmot Wolves Football Team is back next Fall, and we are PUMPED UP to get back on the field!
The Homecoming Date has been set! Wilmot Homecoming will be on October 4, 2024. The Wolves will play Florence-Henry that evening. More details will come, and the final times and dates for the football schedule (some need adjusting) will be out soon!
Recently, 5th through 7th grade students participated in contest in Milbank. Congratulations, Wilmot band students on your accomplishments!
We are experiencing some problems with the school phone system. Fore the most part with any outgoing call the person outside the building can hear us but we cannot hear them. Hopefully the problem will be solved shortly.
2024 National Youth Tobacco Survey:
Wilmot High School has been chosen to the the 2024 National Youth Tobacco Survey. We will be doing this only for grades 9-12, it is completely anonymous, it taken on-line, and will be taken during school. A parent permission slip is being emailed out to all high school families. Only if you do not want your child to take the survey please return it to the school. There is also more information about the survey on the permission form. The survey will be conducted May 8 during school.
Parents- The SDHSAA is working on an Economic Impact study of their state events. The purpose of the study to is gather data to form partnerships with Chambers of Commerce and other business entities in state event cities in order to explore ways to keep costs down to schools and families/spectators. No personal information is collected within the survey and all responses are anonymous. If you have attended a state event from 2023 State Volleyball through now, the SDHSAA, and us as a member school of the SDHSAA, would appreciate your help in taking a few minutes of your time to complete the survey.
