The track meet originally scheduled for tomorrow in Milbank has been moved to Friday instead.
The health careers and career exploration classes were fortunate enough to experience another hands-on learning opportunity! A representative from LATC's Medical Assisting program visited with students to help them learn about this field and what the career entails. Students were even able to practice injections!

The career exploration class had the wonderful opportunity of hosting a representative from Lake Area Tech's Heavy Equipment program who brought along a mini excavator for the students to operate and explore. During this time, students learned more about the program and were privileged to receive guidance from alumni, Austin Metz.
The Kids Heart Challenge kicked off yesterday (formerly Jump Rope for Heart) and the teachers stepped (jumped?) up to challenge as well!

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this afternoon! The school’s goal is $1,500! If we can raise that amount Mr. McNamara can get new P. E. equipment, and the students will get a glow in the dark dance party in P.E. class.
