The ECC 4-6 grade Track & Field Day scheduled for tomorrow is now cancelled due to impending rain and an already saturated field.
4th-6th graders will be participating in the elementary field day on May 13th, starting at 9am.

JOM is having a meeting at the school on May 2nd, join us for snacks and the meeting at 5pm in McKenna Hall!

Updates on Track & Golf Meets this week:
Golf:
All, due to casual water on the course, today's JV golf meet has been postponed; we are looking into the possibility of rescheduling it on Friday, May 3. With more rain in the forecast tomorrow, we are also going to postpone the varsity golf meet. We are looking to reschedule it on Wednesday, May 1. I will be in touch when we have these reschedule dates confirmed.
Track:
Due to the weather, the Valley Queen Cheese Invitational is canceled. Next Year's Date is Tuesday, May 6

Great news! Wyatt TeKrony placed 2nd in his division at the 2024 South Dakota Junior Duck Stamp Competition with his painting of a Canada goose. The Jr. Duck Stamp is an art and science competition for anyone from kindergarten to 12th grade where they can choose from a list of American waterfowl to paint and have the chance to be on the Jr. Duck Stamp. Wyatt and his family attended an awards ceremony in Brookings, SD. Congratulations, Wyatt!

Monday, April 29th is our Athletic Award Banquet in the gym at 7:00pm.
The W-Club will provide chicken & meatballs, a drink, plates, and silverware. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass. Families whose last name starts with J to Z bring a dish to pass (bread, salads, vegetable, or hot dish) and families whose last name start with A to I bring a dessert. We will eat first and the awards program will follow. Student-athletes and managers will be recognized at the awards program.

The school play is next weekend! Make plans to attend!

This requires a parent sign off so talk to your kids and check out what classes they are looking at for next year. If you have any questions please call the school. Forms are due April 30.

This week is Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week, and we have THE BEST!! Thank you to Kalli, Brianna, Sarah, Abigail S, Abigail G, and Dorene! Our community is blessed to be able to provide such an awesome program for our students, and the WASP staff do an incredible job with them!
